Yes we welcome new patients from the Fitzroy North community and surrounding areas. You can schedule your initial appointment through our online booking system or by calling our reception team during opening hours. We recommend booking a double appointment for your first visit if you have a complex medical history to discuss.

Fitzroy North Medical Clinic is a private billing practice. This allows our doctors to provide high quality care and spend more time with each patient. Fees are payable on the day of your consultation. We provide facilities to process your Medicare rebate immediately which is then deposited back into your nominated bank account.

We have limited onsite parking available for patients. There is also ample street parking in the surrounding streets of Fitzroy North. If you are arriving by public transport we are conveniently located directly on the Route 11 tram line on Brunswick Street.

Yes we provide phone and video consultations for our existing patients. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate on a telehealth session you must have had a face to face consultation at our clinic within the last twelve months. If you have not visited us recently you will need to book an in person appointment first.

If you require medical assistance outside of our regular opening hours please contact our designated after hours service or call Nurse On Call for advice. For any life threatening emergency please call triple zero immediately or attend the nearest hospital emergency department.

We take the security of your health information seriously. To maintain confidentiality and ensure proper clinical follow up we generally require you to book an appointment to discuss any test results with your doctor. This allows for a thorough explanation of the findings and the creation of a management plan if required.
