Dr Mark Isaac Dalgleish has lived permanently in Australia since 2011, and comes originally from a large family in Scotland, born and bred in the east end of Glasgow before going on to study medicine in Aberdeen, Scotland, and graduating in January, 2004. After working in Palliative Care in Geelong, Mark Isaac returned to the UK to complete General Practice training in London. On completion of General Practice Specialist Training in 2010, Mark Isaac moved to Geelong in 2011 and then worked for several years with particular focuses on young person’s mental health and sexual health, and on palliative and end of life care.

Mark Isaac has always been passionate about quality health care and about improving health for the marginalised and vulnerable members of our communities such as young people, First Nations communities, and sexuality or gender diverse groups, and is well known for having a holistic and person-centred approach to medicine, committed to ensuring people accessing care remain informed at every stage of health care and achieve the most optimal outcomes possible.

Additionally, Mark Isaac teaches medicine at Deakin and Monash Universities, with a particular focus on teaching clinical and communication skills.
