Melanie is a Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist who has worked for thirty years in the public and private space to provide respectful, collaborative and holistic care to individuals suffering mental health challenges.

She trained in London and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) as well as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals and families with mental health needs at different life stages, including the transition from childhood to adulthood, pregnancy and childbirth and into the challenges of adulthood.

Melanie has worked in a number of areas of psychiatry and is currently focussing on assessing and finding optimal treatment strategies for individuals with ADHD.

Melanie has been bringing her dogs to work for the last ten years, and when they are not helping to provide a safe therapeutic space, they can all be found enjoying long walks, good food and the company of amazing family and friends.
