Martin is an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist who completed his Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Melbourne. He has extensive experience working across private practice, forensic government departments, and public hospitals (acute, rehabilitation, and community-based mental healthcare settings), treating both longstanding and acute physical and psychological conditions. Martin has worked with individuals, groups, and families across the lifespan and continues to maintain public health work with high-risk young people and their families.

Committed to lifelong learning, Martin engages in regular professional development and prioritises culturally-informed, trauma-sensitive, and LGBTQIA+ safe care. His therapeutic approach is warm and compassionate, offering curiosity and non-judgement while empowering individuals to deepen their understanding of themselves and make healthier life choices. Martin enjoys working with adults (18+) experiencing mental health challenges related to mood and anxiety, stress, adjustment and personal growth, perfectionism, self-esteem, sleep, and relationships. He has a particular interest in treating single-incident trauma (PTSD) and complex trauma.

Martin incorporates individual differences into his therapeutic approach and integrates several evidence-based modalities into his practice, including Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (incl. Mindfulness and Strengths-Based) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He practices on Mondays and alternating Wednesdays.
