Dr Megan Glenister

Dr Megan Glenister completed her post graduate studies with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Deakin University in 2016. Megan received the Women’s Health Award in 2016 in light of her academic achievements and interest in this area. She completed her junior medical training at St Vincent’s hospital, initially commencing physician training before transitioning to Western Health for paediatric and women’s health experience.

Megan has an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and practiced as a dietitian at Western Health in Melbourne for 3 years prior to commencing her postgraduate studies in medicine.

Megan enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly developing ongoing relationships with her patients and practicing holistic care in appreciating the impact of healthcare on her patients with their own individual needs.

Megan’s special interests include women’s health (particularly menstrual disorders and menopause), sexual health, paediatrics, chronic disease management and headache and migraine care.

Megan loves AFL football and is a passionate Collingwood supporter. She loves her dog Lulu and spending time trying new recipes. Megan is friendly, approachable and loves getting to know her patients.
